Introduction




The Archdiocese of OhridThe Orthodox Archdiocese of Ohrid is an autonomous Eastern Orthodox archdiocese in the Republic of Macedonia under the jurisdiction of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
The Orthodox Archdiocese of Ohrid was established in 2002 in opposition to the Macedonian Orthodox Church (MOC), which had had a similar relationship with the Serbian Orthodox Church prior to 1967, when it unilaterally declared itself autocephalous.
